Abstract: SQUIDS are the most sensitive devices of magnetic flux. They are very versatile and capable of measuring physical quantities that may be converted to magnetic flux, such as magnetic field, current, voltage, resistance, etc. With such properties, SQUIDs have applications in many different fields like Healthcare, Quantum Computing, Astroparticle Physics, etc. Low background experiments, like Dark Matter Search and Neutrino Physics, can also profit from the use of SQUDs, due to a reduction in energy threshold when compared to other possible technologies.
