One of the main problems in present day physics is the detailed description of strongly interacting matter. In the low energy regime of QCD, due to its non-perturbative nature, effective models play a major role. My main focus of research has been the study of the properties of strongly interacting matter (both in vacuum and medium) and the application of these for different scenarios.
