Current research interests: Properties of mesons in chiral models; Properties of matter under extreme conditions: - Study of the restoration of chiral and axial symmetries at finite temperature and density within the Nambu−Jona-Lasinio type models (NJL) and its implications on several thermodynamic quantities and on meson properties; - Study of the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter; - Analysis of the structure of the QCD phase diagram in the presence of an external magnetic field; - Combination of lattice calculations and effective field theory techniques to investigate the behavior of strongly interacting matter.
